What happens during Program Week?
For one week in August of 2008, 50 teenagers representing all 10 provinces and the 3 territories of Canada will descend upon Vancouver with the hope of being chosen Top Teen of Canada During this busy week, our delegates will attend a series of professionally led workshops. Some of the workshops provide training directly related to the competition, such as public speaking and interview skills, while others give them life-long skills to better themselves and promote positive self-esteem, such as the self-defence and manners & etiquette training The week will also provide the opportunity for the delegates to explore the natural beauty of Vancouver and its surroundings as this city is preparing to invite the world to the 2010 Winter Olympics |
