Mission Statement

Top Teen of Canada has been developed by Canadian public school teachers with seven major goals:

  • To recognise youth in their local communities for their talents and ambitions

  • To provide fun and educational training for teens outside of a school setting

  • To allow teens the opportunity to travel outside of their hometown

  • To provide teenagers with positive youth role models

  • To encourage teenagers to take leadership roles in their community

  • To provide scholarship opportunities to students to enhance their educational dreams

  • To demonstrate the value of giving yourself to your community and charity

Cops for Cancer

Top Teen of Canada's Charity of Choice is Cops for Cancer, a partnership between the Canadian Cancer Society and police officers, RCMP and emergency services personnel from across British Columbia

Each fall, Canadian law enforcement personnel cycle a pre-designated route in their region, raising funds and awareness for pediatric cancer research and programs that support kids with cancer, such as Camp Goodtimes

Cops for Cancer currently holds 4 distinct tours in British Columbia, but their hope is that the event will eventually be held in every province and territory across Canada

All funds raised by Cops for Cancer benefit pediatric cancer research and support programs nation wide
